The Law of Least Effort

This law is based on the fact that nature's intelligence functions with effortless ease and abandoned carefreeness. If you observe nature at work, you will see that least effort is expended. Grass doesn't try to grow, it just grows. Fish don't try to swim, they just swim. Flowers don't try to bloom, they bloom. Birds don't try to fly, they just fly. Through out the weekend, just try to accept people, situations, and events as they occur. Take responsibility for your situation and for all events seen as problems. Relinquish the need to defend your point of view.

The Law of "Dharma"

The word 'Dharma' is a Sanskrit word that means "Purpose in life." According to this law, each of us has a unique talent and a unique way of expressing it. There is something that you can do better than anyone else in the world-embrace it and seek your higher Self. Discover your unique talents. Ask yourself how you are best suited to serve humanity. As situations arise today; ask yourself "how can I help all those that I come into contact with?" Instead of asking "What's in it for me?" Using your unique talents and serving others brings unlimited bliss and abundance.

The Law of Detachment

This is a very powerful law because it states that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it. This doesn't mean you give up the intention to create your desire, you just give up your attachment to the result. Embrace the wisdom of uncertainty and allow yourself and others the freedom to be who they are. Do not force solutions-allow solutions to spontaneously emerge. Uncertainty is essential, and your path to freedom. Today, step into the field of all possibilities and anticipate the excitement that can occur when you remain open to infinity of choices.

The Law of Intention and Desire

Monday is the perfect day to practice 'The Law of intention and Desire.' This law is based on the fact that energy and information exist everywhere in nature and within each one of us. The whole universe, in its essential nature, is the movement of energy and information. Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment. Begin the week by making a list of all the desires that you'd like to fulfill in the next 7 days. Trust that when things don't seem to go your way, there is a reason. Remind yourself to practice being present in all your actions and accept that present as it is.

The Law of Karma

"Karma" is both action and the consequence of that action; it is cause and effect simultaneously, because every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind. "What you sow is what you reap." Today, witness the choices that you make in each moment. Whenever you make a choice, as yourself two questions: "what are the consequences of this choice that I'm making?" And "Will this choice bring fulfillment and happiness to me and also to those who are affected by this choice?" Ask your heart for guidance and be guided by its message of comfort or discomfort.

Law of Giving

The law of Giving is all about the dynamic exchange that takes place in the world. Nothing is static. The flow of life is nothing other than the harmonious interaction of all the elements and forces that structure the field of existence. Today, bring whoever you encounter a gift: a compliment or flower and perhaps most important; your attention. Gratefully receive gifts. Keep wealth circulating by giving and receiving care, affection, appreciation and love.

Law of Pure Potentiality

The Seven Spiritual laws of success As many of you are aware, Ted and I attended a week long Deepak Chopra event in Whisler, BC. It was an extraordinary experience that we'd like to share with you over the next week. In one of the best selling books of all time, "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success", Deepak shares a simple and profound path to the fulfillment of your dreams. Each day we'll share one of the laws and invite each of you to read the entire book if you haven't already done so, and share your thoughts. The First law: The Law of Pure Potentiality-This law is based on the fact that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness with infinite creativity. To get in touch with the field of pure potentiality, take time each day to be silent. Mediate at least twice a day for approximately 30 minutes. Take time each day to witness the amazing nature around you. Practice non-judgment; begin each day with the statement, "Today, I shall judge nothing that occurs."

Failure Doesn't Suck - Part II

If you read yesterday's Fast Company interview with Sir James Dyson, you undoubtedly got inspired by his story. Here's an innovator who gets his thrills solving big problems by making interesting products. When asked what kept him going despite 15 years of failed prototypes, he replied - "a lot of people give up when the world seems to be against them, but that's the point when you should push a little harder....Often, just around the corner is where the solution will happen." Click here to read the full text of the article and share an inspiration when your extra efforts led to something extraordinary.

Failure Doesn't Suck

After 5,126 tries, Sir James Dyson finally got it right. Just imagine for a second, creating 5,127 prototypes of a Vacuum cleaner before you get it right. I wonder how many of us would have made it past the first 25. Today, Dyson builds the best-selling vacuum cleaner by revenue in the United States. "There were 5,126 failures. But I learned from each one." Dyson said in an intriguing Fast Company interview. "That's how I came up with a solution. So I don't mind failure. I've always thought that schoolchildren should be marked by the number of failures they've had. The child who tries strange things and experiences lots of failures to get there is probably more creative." YouTube and Personal Touch

On Monday night, democratic presidential candidates shared the stage with you and me, live on YouTube. For the first time in history, ordinary people, especially young ones, with a video camera put the candidates to the test by asking daring questions and using real-life examples to demonstrate their points of view. It was pretty amazing to watch the candor of the young who challenged the candidates to break out of the rhetoric of their campaign speeches and to address sometimes uncomfortable issues such as race, religion and their own vulnerabilities. While this certainly underscored the internet as a force in politics, more importantly, it opened my eyes to just how powerful the internet can be towards helping each of us to propel our businesses forward. Watch the video below to get a glimpse, if you missed it and share your feedback.

What are your views on how we can leverage channels like YouTube to achieve growth in our businesses?

iThought

Today’s success will not come form how well you perform in your job; success will come from how well you stimulate imagination and creativity today. Einstein's success came from questioning conventional wisdom, challenging authority, and marveling at mysteries that struck others as mundane.

He had beliefs such as, God would not play dice by allowing things to happen by chance.

And

He made statements such as "Long live impudence."

Meaning that nothing in this world happens by accident and that it is our birthright to be bold in our quest for the answers and to be offensively bold when necessary. Einstein once explained, "When I ask myself how it happened that I in particular discovered the theory of relativity, it seemed to lie in the following circumstance: The ordinary adult never bothers his head about the problems of space and time, however, I probed more deeply into the problem than an ordinary child would have."

As we sit in contemplation of our thoughts this week, how important do you think it is to probe deeply into the questions of "Who am I? And what is my Purpose?"

Who truly believes that they can leave a mark in this universe bigger than Einstein?

Consciousness The True Power/ The True Leader

Our leaders are not our leaders.

Consciousness is the leader.

To be a leader in this world, is to lead in spirit.

To Impact the nation, is to lead from your soul.

To be president, is not just to be

To be, is to run for purpose,

Don't run for office, run for you dreams,

Don't run for authority, run for passion,

Don't run for control, run for freedom,

Don't run for the position, run for the people,

Don't run for others, run for yourself,

Don't run for the sake of running, run for vitality,

Run for power, true power,

Run for source, true spirit,

Run for happiness, true joy,

Run for appreciation, don't run for guilt,

Run for empowerment, don't run for fear,

Run for courage, for gods sake, don't run just to run, run cause you love it,

Run cause the very thought of running for anything else would fill the seas with your tears,

and would crack the earth with your broken heart.

Can you hear me, can you hear you.

Can you hear me in you and you in me.

Can you see my light in your light, my passion in your passion

My fear in your fear , my courage in your courage

My love in your love, my heart in your heart

My soul in your soul.

Because I am you and you me. I am love and love is me,

I am joy and joy is me, I am happiness and happiness is me.

I am not myself, but I am all of you

And none of you,and nothing at the same time.

I am everything. I am not I, but I am.

For who is it that speaks these words?

Me, and you, and everyone.

You may hear my words, but it is all of us. And none of us!

Namaste,

-Ted McGrath and You-

The Meditation Transformation

Are you interested in truly transforming your life? After spending four days with Deepak Chopra this weekend, I learned Primordial Sound Meditation. I discovered how to incorporate the vibrations the universe was making, at the exact time I was born, into my meditation and visualization techniques. This process helps us answer the questions of Who am I? What do I want out of my life today? And, What is my purpose? It is a process of asking these questions and then releasing them into the universe for all our dreams and desires to manifest into our lives. This Friday I will teach you the process of meditation and you will watch in amazement how The Law of Attraction integrates with precision into this process. Henry Ford says, "You either believe you can, or you believe you can't either way you're right!" I no longer have to believe, I know with absolute certainty the power that exists within all of us.

You either know you can, or you know you can't, either way you're right!

Power to look into the future

It has been said that there have been prophets who were able to look into the future and see an array of possibilities. Several Prophets have said they see a time where the sand will become water, where the blind and the deaf will be healed, and they also see a time where there will be catastrophic destruction. So the question is, which one is it? Ask yourself, which one is it? Sickness or health, Poverty or wealth. Is it true that we really have to go through the struggle to get to the good; or could it be that the prophets were not seeing a series of events, but rather an array of infinite choices and possibilities? Could it be that the prophets weren’t seeing a path of bad to get to good, but they were seeing a path of choices? Scientists today are calling these Choice Points. The ability to look into the future and choose what we want to show up in our lives. I’ll let you in on a little secret, the prophets aren’t the only ones who have the power to look into the future.

How deeply buried in your soul is your PURPOSE?

How deeply buried in your soul is your purpose? Is it buried so deep that it is almost invisible?

4 roadblocks to your purpose-

  1. You have been told since you were a kid that achieving your life’s dream was impossible.
  2. You have been conditioned with fear. A fear to let go of what is safe. Somehow we have all become attached to our misery and mediocrity.
  3. Feeling that we are not worthy of success and feeling guilt when we taste success.
  4. Fear of chasing what we really want because if we don't achieve it, we've run out of excuses.

I ask you this question with sincerity and compassion. Are you afraid to tell the world what you really want to be and what you really want to do with your life? I was, not anymore!! It’s not too late to chase your dreams. Recent research says that the human body is capable of living a healthy life all the way to age 114.

Are you just discovering yourself

Someone recently asked me, 'Are you just discovering yourself'

My answer: I know what I know now. And yes, just discovered myself so to speak. It’s just peeling back the layers of the onion. It’s all been there just blocked. It’s the same thing as love. It’s impossible to get more love. Love is that which you are. You just have to peel back the layers. There is no soul mate out there to complete anyone. The completion happens internally. External completion through another only leads to dependency, battle of the egos for more love and then the natural separation to return to your source.
