Five Exercises for Better Work

1. We can never overlook the 15-20 minute meditation to get your day jumpstarted and centered

2. How about bringing calm and peaceful energy to a client situation not only centering yourself, but making them feel at ease. And, you can bet that they are undoubtedly a bit nervous. When you greet your client, give them a gentle Gaze in the eyes and repeat the word Namaste silently to yourself. Namaste means the being in me, recognizes and sees the being in you. Do this with everyone you encounter and notice how their energy and reaction towards you will change.

3. When you're listening to your client, don't keep thinking what the next word out of your mouth is going to be, really listen and BE PRESENT. As you listen, turn your attention to who is listening. Needless to say your ears and your brain are the instrument interpreting the words, but WHO is listening. Pay attention to the witness, the timeless, presence that is really experiencing the conversation. That Presence is your spirit. Notice how this being aware of this presence puts you at ease and watch the energy transfer to your client.

4. Put your attention on the space between you and your client. As you place your attention on the space between you, notice the presence you feel in your body, notice the peace that brings you to the NOW!

5. There is nothing more powerful than Inner Dialogue. When you practice positive inner dialogue people will naturally be drawn to your energy and will want to help you. Every morning or at lunch time or in the evening, look into the mirror for a second or two and make eye contact with yourself. Silently repeat the following phrases, A) "I am totally independent of the good or bad opinion of others." B) "I am beneath no one." C) "I am fearless in the face of any and all challenges." Deepak Chopra says to look for the shine in your eyes and remind yourself of the fire in your soul.

The Law of Least Effort

This law is based on the fact that nature's intelligence functions with effortless ease and abandoned carefreeness. If you observe nature at work, you will see that least effort is expended. Grass doesn't try to grow, it just grows. Fish don't try to swim, they just swim. Flowers don't try to bloom, they bloom. Birds don't try to fly, they just fly. Through out the weekend, just try to accept people, situations, and events as they occur. Take responsibility for your situation and for all events seen as problems. Relinquish the need to defend your point of view.

The Law of "Dharma"

The word 'Dharma' is a Sanskrit word that means "Purpose in life." According to this law, each of us has a unique talent and a unique way of expressing it. There is something that you can do better than anyone else in the world-embrace it and seek your higher Self. Discover your unique talents. Ask yourself how you are best suited to serve humanity. As situations arise today; ask yourself "how can I help all those that I come into contact with?" Instead of asking "What's in it for me?" Using your unique talents and serving others brings unlimited bliss and abundance.

The Law of Detachment

This is a very powerful law because it states that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it. This doesn't mean you give up the intention to create your desire, you just give up your attachment to the result. Embrace the wisdom of uncertainty and allow yourself and others the freedom to be who they are. Do not force solutions-allow solutions to spontaneously emerge. Uncertainty is essential, and your path to freedom. Today, step into the field of all possibilities and anticipate the excitement that can occur when you remain open to infinity of choices.

The Law of Intention and Desire

Monday is the perfect day to practice 'The Law of intention and Desire.' This law is based on the fact that energy and information exist everywhere in nature and within each one of us. The whole universe, in its essential nature, is the movement of energy and information. Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment. Begin the week by making a list of all the desires that you'd like to fulfill in the next 7 days. Trust that when things don't seem to go your way, there is a reason. Remind yourself to practice being present in all your actions and accept that present as it is.

Friday, August 10, 2007

The Law of Karma

"Karma" is both action and the consequence of that action; it is cause and effect simultaneously, because every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind. "What you sow is what you reap." Today, witness the choices that you make in each moment. Whenever you make a choice, as yourself two questions: "what are the consequences of this choice that I'm making?" And "Will this choice bring fulfillment and happiness to me and also to those who are affected by this choice?" Ask your heart for guidance and be guided by its message of comfort or discomfort.

Law of Giving

The law of Giving is all about the dynamic exchange that takes place in the world. Nothing is static. The flow of life is nothing other than the harmonious interaction of all the elements and forces that structure the field of existence. Today, bring whoever you encounter a gift: a compliment or flower and perhaps most important; your attention. Gratefully receive gifts. Keep wealth circulating by giving and receiving care, affection, appreciation and love.

Law of Pure Potentiality

The Seven Spiritual laws of success As many of you are aware, Ted and I attended a week long Deepak Chopra event in Whisler, BC. It was an extraordinary experience that we'd like to share with you over the next week. In one of the best selling books of all time, "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success", Deepak shares a simple and profound path to the fulfillment of your dreams. Each day we'll share one of the laws and invite each of you to read the entire book if you haven't already done so, and share your thoughts. The First law: The Law of Pure Potentiality-This law is based on the fact that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness with infinite creativity. To get in touch with the field of pure potentiality, take time each day to be silent. Mediate at least twice a day for approximately 30 minutes. Take time each day to witness the amazing nature around you. Practice non-judgment; begin each day with the statement, "Today, I shall judge nothing that occurs."

Failure Doesn't Suck - Part II

If you read yesterday's Fast Company interview with Sir James Dyson, you undoubtedly got inspired by his story. Here's an innovator who gets his thrills solving big problems by making interesting products. When asked what kept him going despite 15 years of failed prototypes, he replied - "a lot of people give up when the world seems to be against them, but that's the point when you should push a little harder....Often, just around the corner is where the solution will happen." Click here to read the full text of the article and share an inspiration when your extra efforts led to something extraordinary.

Failure Doesn't Suck

After 5,126 tries, Sir James Dyson finally got it right. Just imagine for a second, creating 5,127 prototypes of a Vacuum cleaner before you get it right. I wonder how many of us would have made it past the first 25. Today, Dyson builds the best-selling vacuum cleaner by revenue in the United States. "There were 5,126 failures. But I learned from each one." Dyson said in an intriguing Fast Company interview. "That's how I came up with a solution. So I don't mind failure. I've always thought that schoolchildren should be marked by the number of failures they've had. The child who tries strange things and experiences lots of failures to get there is probably more creative." YouTube and Personal Touch

On Monday night, democratic presidential candidates shared the stage with you and me, live on YouTube. For the first time in history, ordinary people, especially young ones, with a video camera put the candidates to the test by asking daring questions and using real-life examples to demonstrate their points of view. It was pretty amazing to watch the candor of the young who challenged the candidates to break out of the rhetoric of their campaign speeches and to address sometimes uncomfortable issues such as race, religion and their own vulnerabilities. While this certainly underscored the internet as a force in politics, more importantly, it opened my eyes to just how powerful the internet can be towards helping each of us to propel our businesses forward. Watch the video below to get a glimpse, if you missed it and share your feedback.

What are your views on how we can leverage channels like YouTube to achieve growth in our businesses?

Infinity Purpose Exercise

I thought that I would share with everyone an exercise that has impacted my life and has helped me define my Purpose on this planet. Perfection can only be accomplished by killing of the spontaneity in our lives. Being clear on our purpose and our life's Work isn't about finding the Perfect path and searching for the perfect signs. It’s about throwing ourselves into the uncertainty of life and trusting that our desires will emerge. In the uncertainty is where the certainty is.

Infinity Coaching: A one on one Journey into Unlimited Potential

As many of you already know, it is Ted McGrath’s Passion to help other’s impact personal change in their own lives and to raise the consciousness on the planet. Ted has an infinite ability to assist individuals in completely transforming their lives. In light of the graciously accepted, overwhelming interest in Ted’s own personal journey and transformation, he has decided to work one on one with 15 clients this year. He is currently working with 3 individuals at their request and has decided to open up this experience to 12 additional people.

Anyone who Ted embarks on a personal and working relationship with will not be considered a client. You will be considered an advocate. An advocate is someone who is also passionate about raising the consciousness on the planet and helping transform everyone they come into contact with. Through your work with Ted, transformation will not be a destination. It will be a way of Being. It will be your entire way of existence. Just by coming in contact with you, others will feel and embrace your energy as a part of their own lives.

Advocates are individuals who are interested in gaining mastery of their own lives, individuals who are passionate about being passionate. It is through your one on one partnership and commitment with Ted, and his to you, that you will transform your own lives, and then the planet. “Never doubt that a small group of committed citizens can change the world; Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” –Margaret Mead-

What to Expect:

-Complete Transformation in your Relationships: The methodologies that Ted will share with you will help you transform at such a rapid pace, that it is suggested that you share them with your closest relationships. The Transformation gap will start to grow and if your relationships are not changing with you, this process could create distance and tension in your existing relationships.

-Complete Transformation in your Work: What have you always dreamed of doing, but never had the confidence, vision, and passion to follow your destiny. Your Soul is calling and must be answered or you will find yourself surrounded by negative circumstances. Your destiny always finds its way, it can be effortless and easy, or painful and grueling--- it’s your decision.

-Your First Real Discovery of Your Purpose: Each one of us is on a Hero’s Journey, except we have forgotten two key points: 1) That you are actually on a journey; and, 2) That you are the Hero. You know who you are and you know what your purpose is. You have temporarily forgotten the innocence of your soul, and the inner child who used to believe that anything was possible. It’s time to uncover your potential and discover your purpose.

If you are out there searching for new systems, new relationships, and new careers, to solve your problems, I can promise you one thing. You will just be buying and finding new circumstances, and surrounding them with more of the same old habits.

How to Get Started:

Please answer the following questions and we will set up a 30 minute complimentary consultation with Ted to see if there is a fit. Since there are limited opportunities to become an advocate this year, Ted and you will mutually decide if your partnership will be a good fit.

Who am I?

What do I want from my Life Today?

What is my Purpose?

What is my potential?

Advocate Coaching Session:

15 sessions/ year: You will have one 75 minute session every 3 weeks for the first 10 months. The last two months will be a process of self-analysis on your journey of which advanced meditation techniques, visualization techniques, and journaling methods will be administered.

Web Accessibility:

Each Advocate will have their allotted, private web space in which they can journal all significant experiences, events, and lessons for Ted to comment on and accelerate their learning path.

You will have private access to Ted through email, private chat rooms, and your own private bulletin board features, to reflect, track, and monitor your progress.

Your monthly fee for the Infinity network and e-learning Infinity course will be waived.

Annual Fee for Infinity Coaching: $7,999 or $750/month

Please respond to this post or contact us via email if you are interested in exploring the opportunity to be an Advocate within The Infinity Coaching Platform.

iThought

Today’s success will not come form how well you perform in your job; success will come from how well you stimulate imagination and creativity today. Einstein's success came from questioning conventional wisdom, challenging authority, and marveling at mysteries that struck others as mundane.

He had beliefs such as, God would not play dice by allowing things to happen by chance.

And

He made statements such as "Long live impudence."

Meaning that nothing in this world happens by accident and that it is our birthright to be bold in our quest for the answers and to be offensively bold when necessary. Einstein once explained, "When I ask myself how it happened that I in particular discovered the theory of relativity, it seemed to lie in the following circumstance: The ordinary adult never bothers his head about the problems of space and time, however, I probed more deeply into the problem than an ordinary child would have."

As we sit in contemplation of our thoughts this week, how important do you think it is to probe deeply into the questions of "Who am I? And what is my Purpose?"

Who truly believes that they can leave a mark in this universe bigger than Einstein?

Consciousness The True Power/ The True Leader

Our leaders are not our leaders.

Consciousness is the leader.

To be a leader in this world, is to lead in spirit.

To Impact the nation, is to lead from your soul.

To be president, is not just to be

To be, is to run for purpose,

Don't run for office, run for you dreams,

Don't run for authority, run for passion,

Don't run for control, run for freedom,

Don't run for the position, run for the people,

Don't run for others, run for yourself,

Don't run for the sake of running, run for vitality,

Run for power, true power,

Run for source, true spirit,

Run for happiness, true joy,

Run for appreciation, don't run for guilt,

Run for empowerment, don't run for fear,

Run for courage, for gods sake, don't run just to run, run cause you love it,

Run cause the very thought of running for anything else would fill the seas with your tears,

and would crack the earth with your broken heart.

Can you hear me, can you hear you.

Can you hear me in you and you in me.

Can you see my light in your light, my passion in your passion

My fear in your fear , my courage in your courage

My love in your love, my heart in your heart

My soul in your soul.

Because I am you and you me. I am love and love is me,

I am joy and joy is me, I am happiness and happiness is me.

I am not myself, but I am all of you

And none of you,and nothing at the same time.

I am everything. I am not I, but I am.

For who is it that speaks these words?

Me, and you, and everyone.

You may hear my words, but it is all of us. And none of us!

Namaste,

-Ted McGrath and You-

The Meditation Transformation

Are you interested in truly transforming your life? After spending four days with Deepak Chopra this weekend, I learned Primordial Sound Meditation. I discovered how to incorporate the vibrations the universe was making, at the exact time I was born, into my meditation and visualization techniques. This process helps us answer the questions of Who am I? What do I want out of my life today? And, What is my purpose? It is a process of asking these questions and then releasing them into the universe for all our dreams and desires to manifest into our lives. This Friday I will teach you the process of meditation and you will watch in amazement how The Law of Attraction integrates with precision into this process. Henry Ford says, "You either believe you can, or you believe you can't either way you're right!" I no longer have to believe, I know with absolute certainty the power that exists within all of us.

You either know you can, or you know you can't, either way you're right!

Power to look into the future

It has been said that there have been prophets who were able to look into the future and see an array of possibilities. Several Prophets have said they see a time where the sand will become water, where the blind and the deaf will be healed, and they also see a time where there will be catastrophic destruction. So the question is, which one is it? Ask yourself, which one is it? Sickness or health, Poverty or wealth. Is it true that we really have to go through the struggle to get to the good; or could it be that the prophets were not seeing a series of events, but rather an array of infinite choices and possibilities? Could it be that the prophets weren’t seeing a path of bad to get to good, but they were seeing a path of choices? Scientists today are calling these Choice Points. The ability to look into the future and choose what we want to show up in our lives. I’ll let you in on a little secret, the prophets aren’t the only ones who have the power to look into the future.

How deeply buried in your soul is your PURPOSE?

How deeply buried in your soul is your purpose? Is it buried so deep that it is almost invisible?

4 roadblocks to your purpose-

  1. You have been told since you were a kid that achieving your life’s dream was impossible.
  2. You have been conditioned with fear. A fear to let go of what is safe. Somehow we have all become attached to our misery and mediocrity.
  3. Feeling that we are not worthy of success and feeling guilt when we taste success.
  4. Fear of chasing what we really want because if we don't achieve it, we've run out of excuses.

I ask you this question with sincerity and compassion. Are you afraid to tell the world what you really want to be and what you really want to do with your life? I was, not anymore!! It’s not too late to chase your dreams. Recent research says that the human body is capable of living a healthy life all the way to age 114.

Are you just discovering yourself

Someone recently asked me, 'Are you just discovering yourself'

My answer: I know what I know now. And yes, just discovered myself so to speak. It’s just peeling back the layers of the onion. It’s all been there just blocked. It’s the same thing as love. It’s impossible to get more love. Love is that which you are. You just have to peel back the layers. There is no soul mate out there to complete anyone. The completion happens internally. External completion through another only leads to dependency, battle of the egos for more love and then the natural separation to return to your source.

Your perception is creating your world!

Consider this, there are no spiritual answers in the outside world for you. I want to leave my marriage, I want to leave my job, I want to leave this state. Everything you are experiencing in the physical world is a reflection of what you are thinking. So there is no where for you to run to or no thing for you to run away from. It (Your world) will just follow you because you are the one creating it (your world). Change your inner talk and you will change your outer world. Don't change your inner talk and your outer geography will look the same, only disguised better. No matter where you travel to, from Kansas to the moon, it will always be there. How many people have been in a position where they left and thought the answers were somewhere else, only to find out months later that you are in the same situation. If you want a fresh start, get a fresh perception of who you are, and you will have your fresh start.

Law of Attraction

Attracting greater money and attracting more things into our lives cannot sustain happiness without attracting greater purpose into our lives. With greater purpose we have a greater appreciation for everything in our lives. We start to see the world as infinite potential and every object, person, and organism around us brings us greater joy and appreciation. I call it the rule of 6's. It may be a new shirt that lasts 6 days, it could be a new suit that lasts 6 weeks, and it could be a new car that lasts 6 months. Without greater purpose, we lose the appreciation for all things in our lives. It’s only a matter of time before the ego desires more and more, while unhappiness waits in the doorway. But, with great purpose comes great spirit, and the ultimate fulfillment, to serve something bigger than ourselves.

Day 4 of Freedom: Live Effortlessly

The 4th Way on the 4th Day of Freedom: Live Effortlessly (surrender to it): See but don’t look, accomplish but don’t struggle. When you are in harmony, things happen effortlessly. The grass isn’t reaching to grow, the water isn’t trying to tread its own water to stay afloat, and the sky isn’t trying to stop itself from falling. Let the flow of universal intelligence flow through you.

It goes back to inspiration- inspiration is when an idea gets a hold of you and things manifest effortlessly. Motivation is the opposite. People tend to get motivated to do things because they use force and power to try and get things done. They try and bull doze their way through resistance because they see themselves as separate from everything else. You are separate from nothing and no one.

How to implement, living effortlessly on Day 4 –

-Let go: Accept that you can create the future, but at this moment be in the stillness and connection of life

-Accept problems with open arms: When you’re thrown a problem, accept it as a miracle that will help you grow—Look at this problem as a sign connecting you to your highest potential—accept problems that come your way.
-Drop the ego: Don’t argue with people—arguing feeds the ego and gives it life.

When someone argues with you, don’t resist and don’t argue back. By surrendering to it, you completely diffuse their ego, and it cannot survive without you resisting it. That is power. That’s effortless.

The 3rd way on the 3rd day: KARMA

The 3rd way on the 3rd day: KARMA-- at every moment we have an infinite number of choices, but there is always one correct choice. This correct choice is the choice that will bring joy to you and all those who are around you. Karma implies that every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind. If you want appreciation, appreciate others. If you want money, help someone else make money.

So you might be asking, how can I make that one correct choice in the midst of thousands of choices?

In the midst of thousands of choices, and in the midst of millions of stimuli, and surrounded by a world of billions of people, the answer is synchronicity. Your mind, body, and spirit, is so divine, that you have the ability to task millions of events while simultaneously deciding and creating what you want.

How to implement this on Day 3- Listen to your body and Observe the consequences!

So, the question you might be asking yourself today is, should I get involved in a relationship with this person?

1) Actually ask yourself that question and Listen to your body, your body always knows. When you make your choice, observe that choice as a witness to your thoughts. If your body feels Joy as a result of that choice, the answer is yes. If your body feels despair as a result of your choice, the answer is no.

2) As you observe your choice, you can then imagine the consequences of the choice playing it self out. And when you see the consequences playing themselves out, you can either feel the joy or you can feel the despair of that decision, and then you will know if this is the correct choice.

Take 2 minutes and Do it Now!

Day 2 of Freedom

The 2nd way on the 2nd day of Freedom. Be a Joyful Contributor. Wherever you go, give for the purpose of experiencing joy. Have you ever been through the experience where giving to others is painful, depreciating, energy draining, and time consuming? I call this giving from a state of obligation rather than Inspiration. Others, might tell you that it is our obligation to give back, and I would say that we can’t give from obligation alone. We cannot give from a state of rules that are applied to a society as whole, but we can give from an awakening of our inner self. When did giving become a responsibility rather than a natural gesture of the human spirit. Giving is effortless, it does not require responsibility and it does not require effort. It just requires a heightened state of awareness. We have lost our ability to hear the inner voice of spirit. We are the heroes of our own quest and when we discover that quest, giving allows us to complete the journey. All of us were born to reach freedom and fulfillment. We are held captive by obligation. And if we were free from obligation, we would break free from this very law that prevents the true nature of giving. Awareness itself is the source of all wisdom. This awareness is everywhere, an invisible bridge to all else that exists. Dive into the universal ocean of giving today, but give from a place of inspiration, rather than obligation. Your gift may not be a physical gift, but may be an emotional gift to someone you feel awakened to inspire.

Day 1 of Freedom

During Last Friday’s discussion on ‘The Entire Secret’ I responded to everyone’s thought provoking questions by placing them into a format called 5 days of Freedom. These are five ways in five days this week that you can implement to fulfill your desires. Lets recap Day 1, ‘Live in Spirit’, which you may start today. To some of us being ‘In Spirit’ may seem indefinable or ineffable, nevertheless it is still very real. When we experience this we feel joy, bliss, and invincibility. When we feel this, our ego is no longer our reference point for everything. Here are the 3 steps to ‘Live in Spirit.’

1) Each day you must take time for meditation. It is important that you learn to spend some time alone. To be ‘in spirit’ you must know yourself.

2) Take time to NOT judge others. Get rid of the inner critic. Not judging creates silence in your mind so that you may come into union with your spirit. You are about as far away from being in spirit when you are judging others, than you could possibly be.

3) Take time to appreciate nature. Nature is that which you are. Everything in the universe is made up of information and energy, the plants, the water, the animals, your car. Take time to come in union with nature each day.

We are all energy, the only reason you see things in solid form is because the human senses can not pick up on the speed and the vibration with which energy is moving. This energy is how things exist on the quantum level. If you were able to view things with a quantum eye so to speak, you would see the world as one big soup of energy. The quantum world is the unmanifest, what we see in the physical world is that of the manifest. When you walk into a room, feel it, don’t see it. If you have trouble feeling it, feel your own fingertips and the energy coming off them, and feel that energy connecting with the object and objects in the room.

Questions

During last week’s call on “The Entire Secret” we talked about our limiting beliefs that may be preventing us from fulfilling our desires and living our Dharma. Many of you have heard the term Dharma, it has many meanings such as work, religion, or duty. The Yogis call Dharma “purpose in Life.” Too often we are looking for our purpose in life, rather than listening for it. Pay attention to the ideas that are coming to you from your highest self and when the ideas come, don’t discount those ideas, you must take action on them. To find your Dharma you have to be inspired, you have to be open to an idea getting a hold of you. And so many of us are sabotaging those moments of inspiration because of beliefs that we are holding deep in our subconscious minds that wont let us follow our Dharma. And when you act on your Dharma and you listen to it, your fears will start to unfold. But if you remain doing work and things that aren’t in your Dharma you will always have fear, because you are acting from your mind rather than from your spirit. And when you act from your mind you see obstacles but when you act from your spirit, you see opportunities. I can feel the question right now like the morning breeze, as its filtering through the universe, that recurring question that so many of us ask, but so few of us ever receive the answer. “What am I going to do with my Life?

On tomorrows call, we will start to explore the answers, and we will also explore the heartfelt questions that so many of you have sent to me this week. As well as, introducing you to the organization that can help you remove these limiting beliefs. As promised we will follow through on our commitment to helping all of us receive results in our lives.

Submit any last minute questions for the call tomorrow at 9PST/12EST.

Hot Dog or Steak

As you can imagine, our message on 'The Entire Secret' is spreading into the collective consciousness beyond our core group. An individual who somehow got a hold of yesterday's iThought, emailed me to tell me that living in JOY is me living in a fantasy world. She said, "you make JOY seem like it is a choice between a hot dog and a steak, and I don't believe it’s that easy". I replied with appreciation and kind words for her obviously heartfelt inquiry, and said "Well if you did believe it was that easy, what choice you would make the hot dog or the steak?” She said, "Well obviously the steak, who wouldn't, what are you getting at?" I said, "Well, actually some people get more JOY eating hotdogs than steaks, its different for each person (implying in humor that joy is different for each person). What I am getting at is that if you did believe it was easy, you would have a choice. However, when we don't believe we have choices we default to whatever life gives us. As Henry Ford says "you either believe you can or you believe you can't, either way you're right." And in the Quantum world, Henry was dead on, because a belief is a thought we think over and over again, which in turn creates the reality that we wake up to in the mirror every morning. And if you're not aware of what those thoughts are, you wake up eating hot dogs. Her question leads us in synchronicity to the second part of last Fridays call, 'Transforming our limiting beliefs.’ Many people hold limiting beliefs that they don't have choices in life. They are also not consciously aware that they hold these beliefs. One way to start altering those beliefs is to be an observer of your own thoughts. Be an observer today and watch how often times your mind defaults to eating hotdogs. I don't like hotdogs and I was eating quite a few during this particular exercise.

Submit your questions for this Fridays call at 9PST on 'The Entire Secret' I will be answering some of your questions on the call.

An exercise on The Entire Secret

During Last Friday's call on "The Entire Secret" we started off with a simple Question: What is the meaning of Life?
The Meaning of Life is Joy. How each of us goes about finding out what it is that brings us Joy is different, but Joy is the meaning of Life. There's a saying that I like, 'You can’t get wet from the word water.' Water is what it is, not because you call it that. And the same goes for Joy. It doesn’t mater what you call it; you know what it feels like when you’ve found it. My purpose is to help people bring the Magic/Joy back into their lives and to help them believe that they are worthy of it. We all want to experience this joy and the power that comes with it. And the way we experience this joy is by being in alignment with our source, or being connected with god, or being in spirit. Right now, you may be saying, "I want proof", and certainly you can get into the science of it and learn as I have, but the best way is to experience it. The proof that you need to find is that you love your own existence, that you are worthy of you. And, when you reconnect to who you are and start living that life, which is all the proof you will ever need. Each of us has guidance at every moment that lets us know whether or not we are in alignment. Our emotion lets us know and feel whether or not we are experiencing Joy. All Resistance is, is you being out of connection with who you really are. When you are aligned with your highest self, when you are aligned with who you are, you don’t need proof, you just know.

Exercise: Throughout today, if you find yourself experiencing anything other than joy, shift your awareness and pay attention to how you are feeling. If you are feeling frustration, reach for hope. If you are feeling hope, reach for belief. If you are feeling belief, reach for faith. And continue to reach for that place and that emotion that gets you closer to your natural state of joy and full potential.

More on 'The Entire Secret'

In our most recent discussion on "The Entire Secret" we talked about how limiting beliefs stored in our subconscious mind are limiting us from realizing our full potential. However there is a movement taking place in the world, so powerful, that ignoring it in any fashion would be ignoring the transformation of human consciousness. In Hindu teachings, this transformation is called enlightenment. In the teachings of Jesus, it is salvation, and in Buddhism, it is the end of suffering. Others refer to it as an awakening, a shift in awareness, or liberation. Whatever it is, I can feel the deep cry of the human spirit as it anxiously awaits its liberation and the end of its suffering. For most of us the Ego has based its identity on what we do, on what we have, and what we believe. Our identity has become wrapped up in the advertisements we see on TV, our minds and bodies have become polluted with man's vices of alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine. All feeding the Ego, in an unconscious attempt to protect this identity that we have developed as a society. However, as we enter the age of enlightenment, many people are starting to realize that having a belief system-- which is basically a set of thoughts you view as the absolute truth---does not make you spiritual no matter what the nature of those beliefs is. Actually it’s quite the contrary, the more you identify with those beliefs, the more you move away from the spirituality within yourself. It is my opinion that because of these engrained belief systems, many people drift through the physical world blind to the miracle of the spiritual world, not recognizing the very miracle of life that is available to us in every moment. In fact we have boiled down these miracles to moments of logic or moments of coincidences. It is through this awakening of my spirit that I have created on opportunity for others to shift their awareness to be open to the very miracles they encounter every day. It is your birthright this week to enter the realm of the spiritual and to enlighten yourselves with a practice called "Daily Miracles." This is a tool that I have created that awakens you to the power of miracles through out your day. For example, if you desire more money, better health, a new relationship, your transformation this week will involve you recording every sign that the universe is providing you and every encounter that is leading you in the direction of your desire. By recording these miracles in a journal, in your blackberry, or on a piece of paper you will start to realize that there are no coincidences and that every breath you take is a breath closer to your inner awakening of who you are and the infinite power around you.

Additionally, I would like to encourage all of you to think of one question weighing on your mind that if we were to work together to answer on this Friday's call, would help you move closer to your own personal enlightenment. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR QUESTION BY REPLYING TO THE iTHOUGHT EMAIL AND WE WILL INCLUDE IT IN THE UPCOMING DISCUSSION ON FRIDAY.

Implementation System

Did you know that only 5% of the people who attend seminars actually implement the tools and materials successfully into their lives? There’s a movie with John Candy in it and his old Irish mother, who is famous for giving people straight talk. Every time she makes an outlandish remark and people stare at her, she says "Just telling it like it is!" I believe that many people out there are suspecting that these programs and Seminars are not working, and they are exactly right. Lets put it into perspective, for every 1000 people who buy a system, there are 950 people that aren't having success with it. And then there is the one person who made $2,000,000 with the system last year. You know the guy in the front row at the seminars that the seller of the system is always referring to as his Golden Ace. Lets put it more into perspective, at $10,000 for a seminar or program, with 1,000 attendees, that’s $10,000,000 in revenue, which means that $9,500,000 of that capital will never see a return on investment, which means that 950 of the people should have just stayed home, not attended the seminar, and said here is my contribution to get your business up and running. And this is not to point fingers or lay blame to anyone or any system. Just because they aren't working doesn’t mean that the system being sold is not good. However, what it does mean is that the other 361 days a year when we attendees are not at the workshop, there must be an implementation system to maximize the results of the system.

Our Commitment to results is beyond anyone out there and this is why we created iEvolution in the first place, and not only are we committed to everyone’s results, but we are also committed to all of us living more fulfilled lives and that is why we created the ongoing discussion group on "The Entire Secret." You will be excited to hear that we have created an implementation system and a curriculum for "The Entire Secret" course. That’s right, we actually have created an implementation system, around our course work ,that scientifically shows you, that if you implement 90% of your plan, you will get 94% of the result. We will be introducing an overview of this NEW program on this Friday's Conference call. The Creator of the system is the Servant, the Collaboration of the Group is KING! Email us if you would like to participate in any of the upcoming Complimentary iEvolution Calls. We have two this Friday, Back to Back!

Personality Test

"When you develop yourself to the point where your belief in yourself is so strong that you know that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to, your future will be unlimited."
— Brian Tracy

I would echo Brian's thoughts and add that when we develop ourselves and UNDERSTAND ourselves to where our belief is so strong, our future will be unlimited.

In order to UNDERSTAND ourselves better here is a FREE personality test for all of you to complete. I found the results of this test quite intriguing and there is not a profile that I haven't taken all the way from the KOLBE to the DISC profile. It will ONLY take 7-10 minutes. Take it NOW!

FREE personality assessment: (Great for anyone you know.)

Be Generative

After spending the last 10 years in the Financial Services business, I've observed that our clients and peers are constantly being bombarded with ideas to improve their financial situation, when we should be providing them with ideas of how to improve all areas of their lives. We spend all this time sending them updates on how the markets are doing, and I suspect that if that's what they were really interested in, they would have gotten into our business for themselves. In fact, the more I interact with people in the Financial Services arena, the more I realize that they're not interested in the markets or statistics either, they're more interested in living an enriching life. If the Sea is the divine life, why take the outlet to the Sea, when we can go directly to the source. We would be presumptuous to believe that our peers and clients still aren't asking that everlasting question, "What am I going to do with my Life?" We're never too old to come up with new answers and inspire new passion in the ones we care for most. Take a few moments and help your peers and clients discover their 'purpose in life' or what the Yogis call 'Dharma.'

Day 40 of PURPOSE – What is the Meaning of Life?

-One of our members just sent me an email attached with a quote by, Ralph Waldo Emerson, "What lies behind us and what lies in front of us....pales in significance when compared to what lies within us." I can't imagiine a day going by where I don't experience the vitality that lies within all of us.

- Or Helen Keller, "Life is a Daring adventure or Nothing at All." Its amazing how the adventure only comes to the one who is open to it.

-And (source unknown), "Our deepest Fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond belief." I could not live another day without knowing that this power is my birthright.

-Joy, Freedom, expansion, vitality, exhilaration, adventure. Call it what you want to call it, or just call it LIFE. The meaning of life is that which we give it. And the real meaning comes from the decision we make to give it meaning. The meaning I've given to my life is to help people bring the magic back into their lives and to help them believe that they are worthy of it. I can't imagine something that is more important and that has more meaning to me than this. I came to the decision today that for me there is no such thing as not working. Because if my work leads me to joy, and if joy leads me to my work, than I am the most fortunate person on the planet. Why would I want a day off from being inspired. And its not just professional settings where I can bring magic into others lives, its social settings, and personal settings as well. For me, I've decided, why should work and play be separate. If we are all one in the universe, then I must be one with my work and my life. So, if someone asks me if I'm going to work today, I just assume respond 'I'm going to create magic. Today.' When Earl Campbell said, “Follow your Bliss,” I took him literally. I'm reminded of a meeting we had recently with a personal friend whose grandfather is one of the most successful people in the world. He is 86 now and they said he's starting to cut back on his work; he only comes into the office 6 days a week now instead of 7. Now there is someone who is following his bliss and no one can stand in judgment, not now or forever. After all, what is balance? It's just someone else’s interpretation of the meaning of their life.

Tell us about following your Bliss! It's different for every person.

Fridays are notoriously fun, happy days. So, here is an incentive for you to have an all- time awesome weekend. Check this out.

Day 38 of PURPOSE – Just Play

A would be composer walked up to Mozart one day and said, "How can I learn to Compose symphonies as you do?" Mozart looked at the man and said, "You are still young yet, why don't you start by learning vignettes." The young man looked at Mozart and said, "Yes, but you started writing symphonies when you were nine years old!!" Mozart looked at him and said, "Yes, but I never had to ask anyone how to do it." Mozart wasn't responding from a place of judgment or inflation, rather, he was being honest with the young man. Mozart's genius came not from just himself, but came from his ability to access all the infinite wisdom that is available to, all of us, in the universe at any given time. We reach a point where what were writing, what were speaking, what were composing, doesn't just come from what we know, but rather, it comes from a place of deep knowingness that exists within us, that can only be captured by connecting with all that exists outside of us. A friend of mine told me yesterday, that when we pray we are asking, BUT, when we meditate we are listening. Listening, means PAYING ATTENTION to all the signs around you that are guiding you to your full potential self. I suspect that Mozart was able to pay attention a little more than the rest of us. I guess in the end Mozart could look at the keys and 'Just Play.' Do you remember a situation in your life where you could 'Just Play?' Something that just came to you and you couldn't explain how? BLOG about it!
Tune in for tomorrow's teleconference on 'The Entire Secret.' You will be blown away by the process we discuss for ACTUALLY altering limiting beliefs that you have in your subconscious mind. You will get an overview of how to change these beliefs instantly!

Day 37 of PURPOSE – Turning Points

This should take you by surprise. Jim Collins, author of best selling book, 'Good to Great' was a student of the same course that I was, called 'Creativity in Business.' In this course, taught by Stanford Professor, Michale Ray we utilized a technique called heuristics, also known as 'live withs.' This experience turned out to be a major turning point in both Jim Collin's life as well as mine. The purpose of heuristics is to 'live with' a certain mindset day in and day out for an entire week. We chose a different 'live with' each week and tracked our experiences over a 12 week period. The way we tracked our experiences was by BLOGGING. This enabled all of us in the course to write about and share our experiences with one another. Its amazing how 12 hours a day, we can do one thing, WORK, and forget about the most important thing, OUR LIFE. In our current course on 'The Secret' we call this exercise of heuristics '2nd Life.' This week each of us is supposed to be practicing a certain 'live with.' My '2nd life' commitment is to Live with Vitality this week. What is yours? My experience today was that I decided to spend two hours down by the harbor returning phone calls. I chose the harbor because at sunset this is where I feel most connected and in spirit with the Universe. Would you believe that those two hours were the most productive part of my day. It is now 11 PST as I write this to you and I still feel the vitality. If it helped Jim Collins write a best seller and it works for me, you might consider implementing this method. It could be YOUR TURNING POINT!

Decide on your 'live with' and BLOG about it. 23 hrs and 55 minutes of doing and 5 minutes of reflection. That’s all it takes!

Day 36 of PURPOSE - Discover True Power

What is true Power? When is the last time you truly felt that energy within you? A quote that has stuck with me is "The vast majority of men live lives of quiet desperation" What does it feel like to stand out there on the edge and say, nothing is impossible for me! To stare fear in the eye every morning and resolve that greatness will get the best of you. To come face to face with failure, and know that faith will always prevail. Have you gone far enough out there beyond the limitations of your mind to access the infinite wisdom within you? Are you ready to be steadfast on your journey to greatness? I have created seven steps to the Law of Attraction and realizing your true power.

1. Know your burning desire

2. Connect with the seventh plane

3. Identify your limiting beliefs

4. Transform those beliefs

5. Command your desire

6. The Universe Responds

7. Receive with Gratitude

Anything short of these seven steps will not unlock your true power.

Day 35 of PURPOSE - Discover 'The Entire Secret'

Have you wondered why you are putting 'The Secret' to work and you are not achieving maximum results? Now, is the time to discover 'The Entire Secret.' Guess where 85% of your thoughts are coming from? The subconscious mind! Guess where your limiting beliefs are stored? The subconscious mind. Guess how much more powerful your subconscious mind is than your conscious mind? 30,000 Times more powerful!! So check this out, the majority of the time you may be articulating through your conscious mind what you desire, but 85% of the time the actions you take are coming from your subconscious mind. And if the actions that you are taking are based upon a belief structure that is limiting, what do you think the end result is going to be? Limiting your full potential. What I have created to maximize your results, is a seven step process to The Law of Attraction." One of the most important steps is identifying your beliefs that are limiting you and then changing those beliefs. There is actually a thorough process that I use to change these limiting beliefs, but the process can change these beliefs instantly. It will blow your mind! On this Friday we will be providing an overview of how this process works.

In the mean time, based on last Friday's call we have created an exercise we call '2nd Life'. On the call, you identified a feeling or quality that you wanted to have as a result of the new inspiring belief you created. Examples of this feeling may be Peace, Passion, Love, Joy, Happiness etc. Your 2nd Life commitment is, "I will live every moment possible this week in a state of (the feeling that you selected). The key to making this feeling a reality is to write about the experiences you are encountering, while implementing your 2nd life commitment. Write about it on the BLOG!

Day 33 of PURPOSE – Discover yourself

Oprah recently shared her Daily prayer with the world, therefore we thought we would share a meditation process that can help bring more and more joy to everyone’s life. On our blog recently, a group of us have been talking about implementing a powerful meditation process in our lives, so here is one that I have found to be invaluable:

Imagine energy coming up though the bottom of your feet from the center of the earth and going up out of the top of your head as a beautiful ball of light. You are in this ball of light. Take time to notice what color it is. Now imagine going up above the universe. Now imagine going into the light above the universe, it is a big beautiful light. Imagine going up through the light and you will see another bright light, and another, and another, in fact there are many bright lights. Keep going. Between the lights is a little bit of dark light, but this is just a layer before the next light, so keep going. Finally there is a great big bright light. Go through it. When you go through it, you're going to see an energy, a jell-o-like substance, that has all the colors of the rainbow in it. When you go into it, you see that it changes colors. This is the Laws. You will see all kinds of shapes and colors. In the distance there is a white iridescent light; it is a hit-blue color like a pearl. Head for that light. Avoid the Deep blue, light because this is the law of magnetism. As you get closer, you may see a mist of pink color. Keep going until you see it. This is the Law of Compassion and it will push you into the special place. You will see that the pearlescent light is the shape of the rectangle, like a window. This window is really the opening to the Seventh plane. Now go through it. Go deep within it. See a deep whitish glow go through your body. Feel it, it feels light, but it has essence. You can feel it going through you; its as if you can no longer feel the separation between your own body and energy. You become "All That Is". Don't worry. Your Body will not disappear. It will become perfect and healthy. Remember there is just energy here, not people or things. So if you see people, go higher. It is from this place, that the "Creator of all that Is" can do healings that will heal instantly and that you can create in all aspects of your life.
After you go through this process you will feel that feeling of CONNECTEDNESS that you have been searching for. Join the conversation on the BLOG.

Day 32 of PURPOSE – Core Beliefs

Modern Science is coming out of the imperialism of its own dark ages and is now exploring the possibilities of power through thought. If we can send a microwave through the air that permits us to communicate with cell phones; It stands to reason that our brain can act in a similar way. Thoughts have real substance. A thought that you think over and over again becomes a belief. Did you know that beliefs actually go back generations? Sure you did, but did you know scientifically that within your DNA, is genetic memory that goes back at least seven generations. You're not just physical, you're also mental and spiritual energy as well. So, as we continue to talk about matching our beliefs with our desires to manifest what we are wanting, this is just the beginning. The process isn't that simple. However, as we get into the advanced stages of this course we will introduce a meditation process called ThetaHealing, which will help you modify your 'core beliefs' that are holding you back. Until then, tell us about your beliefs that may be holding you back. Join the conversation on the BLOG.

Day 31 of PURPOSE – What do you want?

What do you Want? We recently started a course and a discussion group on 'The Secret' and The Law of Attraction. Often times our daily conversations can be trivial and inconsequential. I sense that there are dormant forces in the human spirit that long desire meaningful and passionate conversations. Sometimes in trying to communicate what we want, we find ourselves with a desire that is ineffable "incapable of being expressed in words." However, we always know what we are feeling. Do you often find yourself, knowing what you are feeling, but not knowing what you are wanting? If you often find yourself in this situation, do you think that your clients are facing a similar obstacle to explaining to you what they truly desire. For as far back as we can remember, writing has been the creative gateway to expressing and discovering our desires. One does not have to be a poet, a journalist, or an author, you just have to think...................................................... think about what you are feeling, ponder it, explore it, write it and act on it. What do you want? Share it with others, invite your clients, and join the discussion.

Day 30 of PURPOSE – Identity Crisis

What do you do? Stop and think for a moment - you're standing in line at starbucks, having a great conversation with the person in front of you, when she asks you what you do? How do you respond - Are you a Financial Advisor? A mortgage professional? A Financial Planner? An entrepreneur? I could go on and on, I think you get the picture. I've often wondered why so many of us continue to be obsessed with job titles. Do you think people care more about what you do OR who you are?

Think of your heros; why were you drawn to them? Was it their job description or the difference they made in the world. When Bill Gates said that he would put a computer on every desk, he didn't simply create software; he changed the very nature of work. When Pierre Omidyar created E-bay, he didn't create an online person-to- person trading community; he created an entirely new marketplace, then added a bank, Paypal. Then a communication device, Skype. Today, E-bay has 180 million registered users, growing at 35% a year.

So what ideas are you fighting for? What’s your BIG purpose that will make the world a better place? Think about it and the next time someone asks you what you do - Answer why you do it instead. Happy weekend!

Day 29 of PURPOSE – Preserve The Core

I had a really inspiring conversation this afternoon discussing the topic of vision. I've always found this topic very intriguing because it is probably one of the least understood-yet most critical-concepts for building any great business. This is one topic that I can't discuss without referring to the great management thinker, Jim Collins. Not only did Jim teach us to embrace Big Hairy Audacious Goals, more importantly, he introduced us to the "preserve the core/stimulate progress" concept.

"The most enduring and successful corporations distinguish their timeless core values and enduring core purpose {which should never change} - from their operating practices and business strategies {which should be changing constantly in response to a changing world}. In truly great companies, change is a constant, but not the only constant. They understand the difference between what should never change and what should be open for change, between what is truly sacred and what is not. And by being clear about what should never change, they are better able to stimulate and progress in everything else."

Do you know what is core, and what is not?

Day 28 of PURPOSE – Straight from the Heart

One idea can change your life. And one person with the passion to serve, share and inspire can change the world. Thank you, Kevin Brunner for sharing your philosophy and your purpose. You're no ordinary 'financial advisor', and as you stated, your words and the words in this short video clip speak volumes for who you are and what you stand for. I urge everyone to read Kevin's blog post from yesterday and share this clip with anyone you truly care about.

Day 27 of PURPOSE – Never lose Faith!

If you had the opportunity to see the movie, Facing the Giants; I bet, you too were inspired by the power of faith. The story is about a high school football coach who, in his six years, never led his team to a winning season. When faced with seemingly insurmountable professional and personal crises, the idea of giving up has never come easier. It's only after an unexpected visitor challenges him to trust in the power of faith that he discovers the strength to persevere.

The defining moment in the movie came when the coach challenged his players to discuss 'The purpose of the team.' As expected, most felt that winning football games was the team's top priority; yet the coach challenged them to dig deeper. "It's not about You", he remarked, "You're playing for God." Thinking about our quest for purpose, I started to ponder the incredible power behind that statement - our day 1 of purpose. What would happen if each of us really shifted our perspective. How far can we go if we stopped thinking about closing that sale, and we started focusing on those we truly serve. Might our results change?

Day 26 of PURPOSE –Change the world!

The TED conference is one of the most remarkable and empowering gatherings on the planet. It takes place once a year in Monterey, CA and brings together more than 1000 of the most influential thought-leaders in Technology, Entertainment and Design ...... for four days of learning, laughter, and inspiration.

Each year TED honors three individuals who have shown that they can, in some way, positively impact life on the planet. The TED Prize, grants these individuals with one WISH to change the world. The winners may wish for anything and the TED community works together to make their wish come true. This year, former President Bill Clinton was one of the winners and courtesy of TED, here is the unedited version of his inspiring WISH. Day 25 of PURPOSE – Room to Read

On Wednesday John Wood was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show. Woods is the founder of a remarkable organization, Room to Read, which strives to provide children access to education. In 1998, John was an 'overworked Microsoft executive looking for the quiet solitude of a trekking vacation." While backpacking in Himalayas, John was invited to visit a school in a neighboring village, Nepal; little did he know that this short detour would change his life forever.

At the school, John came face to face with the harsh reality confronting millions of Nepalese children - very little resources; no opportunities to learn and most importantly, no books to read. As John left the village that day, the school headmaster made a simple request: "perhaps, sir, you will some day come back with books." His request inspired John to return home and begin an email campaign to friends and family asking for help in collecting books. Within 2 month, 3,000 books arrived. John returned to Nepal to deliver the books and made the decision to leave his executive position at Microsoft in order to devote himself to starting a new non-profit with a belief that "World Change Starts Educated Children." Room to Read has been a winner of Fast Company's Social Capitalists Award every year since The magazine and The Monitor Group began the Awards in 2004. I invite each of you to scan the Room to Read web site to get a glimpse of how one's person living his purpose, can change the world. Happy weekend.
