1. We can never overlook the 15-20 minute meditation to get your day jumpstarted and centered
2. How about bringing calm and peaceful energy to a client situation not only centering yourself, but making them feel at ease. And, you can bet that they are undoubtedly a bit nervous. When you greet your client, give them a gentle Gaze in the eyes and repeat the word Namaste silently to yourself. Namaste means the being in me, recognizes and sees the being in you. Do this with everyone you encounter and notice how their energy and reaction towards you will change.
3. When you're listening to your client, don't keep thinking what the next word out of your mouth is going to be, really listen and BE PRESENT. As you listen, turn your attention to who is listening. Needless to say your ears and your brain are the instrument interpreting the words, but WHO is listening. Pay attention to the witness, the timeless, presence that is really experiencing the conversation. That Presence is your spirit. Notice how this being aware of this presence puts you at ease and watch the energy transfer to your client.
4. Put your attention on the space between you and your client. As you place your attention on the space between you, notice the presence you feel in your body, notice the peace that brings you to the NOW!
5. There is nothing more powerful than Inner Dialogue. When you practice positive inner dialogue people will naturally be drawn to your energy and will want to help you. Every morning or at lunch time or in the evening, look into the mirror for a second or two and make eye contact with yourself. Silently repeat the following phrases, A) "I am totally independent of the good or bad opinion of others." B) "I am beneath no one." C) "I am fearless in the face of any and all challenges." Deepak Chopra says to look for the shine in your eyes and remind yourself of the fire in your soul.
